It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Penny Juanita Mims of Georgetown, Georgia, born in Union Springs, Alabama, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Derrell Ray Green, Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Michael Brooks (Tracey) of Brundidge, Danny Brooks (Becky) of Brundidge, Terry Rotten (Bruce) of Panama City, Stanley Thorne of Abbeville, Alabama and Nikki Madrie of Abbeville, Alabama; her siblings, Darrell Greene, Jr. (Sherry) of Eufaula, Jason Green of Abbeville, Alabama, Donna Shurtz (Bill) of Ariton, Robin Kilpatrick (Mark) of Opelika, Vicki Faircloth of Georgetown and Debbie Helton of Maryville, Tennessee; and her great grandchildren, Kayson Lee, NovaLee Juanita and Rowan Lynn. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
