He is survived by: his wife Loveta Jean Johnson (Fowler); his children, Rex Johnson, Jr. of Gadsden, Alabama, Theresa Butler of Tifton, Dona Barrett (Mike) of TyTy, Melinda Battell (Sammy) of Athens and Leslie Weeks (Jason) of Georgetown, Georgia; and his sister Bonita Pitts of TyTy, Georgia. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
