He was predeceased by: his parents, Brantley Burke and Arnita Smitt Burke. He is survived by: his wife Betty Burke of Thomson; his children, Brenda (Jim Caswell), Peggy (Benji Sturkey) and Danny Lee Burke, Jr. (Linda Denton) of Dearing; and his siblings-in-law, Katy Maddox (Mike) and David Cliett (Connie). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jordan Chapel Church of God (6797 GA-171, Edgehill, GA 30810). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
