With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria W. Hawkins of Gibson, Georgia, who passed away on April 24, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis H. and Mary K. Walden; her brothers, Lewis A. and George T. Walden; and her spouse Jamie Hawkins, Sr..
She is survived by: her son Jamie Jr.; her daughter-in-law Kathy U. Hawkins; her daughter Kathy H.; her son-in-law Mike Lyons; her grandsons, Steven, Kelly Usry and James (Kimberly Hawkins); her great grandchildren, Ryan (Katelyn Usry), Landon Hawkins and Scarlett Hawkins (Logan); her great great grandchildren, Colter Usry, Carter Coxwell, Caroline Coxwell and Millie Kate Craw; and her close friend Sadie Powell of Augusta. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
