He is survived by: his wife Andrea Kent Pennington of Gibson; his daughters, Amy Pennington of Evans and Carla Pennington Day (Michael) of North Augusta, SC; his grandsons, Luke Day and Sam Day; his brother Dr Jack W. Pennington (Joan) of Gray; and his caregivers, Loistine Baker, Jackie Hammonds, Debra Heacock, Alice Moss and Dexter McGee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
