He is survived by: his wife Shirley Fay Williams Snider; his children, Laura Harmotta (Charles) of Gibson, April Shelton (Thomas) of Warranton and Robert Snider, Jr.; his grandchildren, Crystal Reeves (Neal), Tara Edwards (Matthew), Amber Shelton and Walker Shelton (Destiny); his great grandchildren, Carson, Dawsyn and Hadley; and his sisters, Sarah Grace Parrish of Augusta and Mary Laura Saye of Athens. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
