With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Berry of Gibson, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on November 7, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Erasmus Kennedy and Helen Rawlins Kennedy; and her former life partner Joel B. Akins. She is survived by : her husband Clarence Berry, Jr. of Gibson; her daughters, Breena Tice (Jason) of Harlem and Tamara Swartz (Chris) of Harlem; and her grandchildren, Claire Tice, Annalee Raley, LeDoux Raley, Maggie Swartz, Abby Swartz and Andrew Swartz.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 6825 Old Mitchell Rd., Mitchell, Ga. 30810 Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
