He was predeceased by: his parents, Deck Hudson and Emma Lee Rucker Miller; his brother Roy Miller; and his brother-in-law Brad Welborn. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sims Miller of Gillsville; his sons, Shannon Miller (Cindy) of Cumming and Matthew Miller (Laura) of Gillsville; his siblings, Marie Welborn of Cornelia and Norman Miller (Pat) of Cumming; his grandchildren, Anna Miller, Claire Miller and Henry Miller; and his sister-in-law Peggy Miller of Flowery Branch. He is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Emmanuel Community Church (6079 GA-52, Gillsville, GA 30543).
