She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Buffington Roberts and Ella Carlee Scott Roberts; her former husband Parris Jewell Watkins; her siblings, Fred, Corbett, Howard, Robert, Grady, Ted, Frank, Leco Roberts, Novis Craig, Ruby Edge and Ruth Strickland Bray; and her grandson Benjamin Lenderman.
She is survived by: her children, Mickey Watkins (Wanda) of Cornelia and Kathy Sullivan of Gillsville; and her grandchildren, Tina Simmons (Tim) of Hollingsworth, Misty Watkins, CJ Watkins of Carnesville and Lisa Lewis of Maysville. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Homes (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (2405 GA-51, Lula, GA 30554). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
