She was predeceased by : her parents, Luke Rucker and Ruby English Rucker; her husband James Robert Dixon, Sr.; her son William Terry Dixon; and her siblings, Alvin Rucker, Merle Rackley and Ruth Burnette.

She is survived by : her son James R. Dixon, Jr.; her sister Betty Jean Ford; her grandson James R. Dixon, III (Shauna); and her great grandchildren, William Dixon and Kaitly Dixon.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Orange Hill Cemetery (101 6th St, Hawkinsville, GA 31036).
