Though Benjamin Franklin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Benjamin Franklin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dowdy and Willie Jo Dowdy; and his brother Jerry Dowdy. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Susan Dowdy of Wrens, GA; and his siblings, Mike Dowdy (Jenny) of Statesboro, GA and Linda Struthers (Carl) of Dunedin, FL. He is also survived by three nieces and a nephew.
