He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Sikes and Cora Sikes; his wife Louise Sikes; his son Allen Sikes; his grandson Ben Sikes; and his siblings, C. J. Sikes, Hymie Sikes, Curtis Sikes, Annette Sikes and Betty Kilby.
He is survived by: his daughter Larenda Dasher; his grandchildren, Troy Sikes, Nicky Sikes (Daniel), Logan Bland (Rachel), Jackson Dasher and Hannah Dasher; his great grandchildren, Lawson Knight, Will Sikes, Hudson Sikes, Haven Sikes, Indy Knight and Hallie Bland; and his caregivers, William Altman, Janice Brannen, Bob Carey, Ruth Ann Foster, Glenda Geiger, Lisa Hartley, Greg Janeczek, Sherri Jenkins, Melvin, Josette Sprout, Robin Stanfield, Janis Todd and Dawn Waldren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brannen Family Funeral Services (206 N Veterans Blvd, Glennville, GA 30427). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at the Glennville Memorial Gardens (5694 GA-144, Glennville, GA 30427).
