She was predeceased by: her parents, Rayford Wetherington and Nicey Smiley Wetherington; her husband Cecil Groover; her siblings, Dallas Wetherington, Alvin Wetherington and Hazel Jennings; and her children, Linda Griffin and Danny Groover.
She is survived by: her brothers, Leon Wetherington of San Diego, Ralph Wetherington of Gatlin and Earl Wetherington of Tampa. She is also survived by Ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
