He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Campbell Rucker; his son Michael J. Rucker of Reidsville; his stepchildren, Trapper Bradley of Glennville, Danielle Bradley of Glennville and Beth Bradley of Glennville; his grandsons, Michael Myers of Pooler and Randy Myers of Pooler; and his siblings, Kenneth Rucker of Claxton, Carolyn Toole of Uvalda and Sandra Todd of Claxton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Church of Nazarene (3500 GA-169, Claxton, GA 30417).
