She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Smith and Ruth Bragg Smith; her husband Dartho Brannen; and her siblings, Joe "Sambo" Smith, Walter "Buck" Smith, Jr., Edna Gardner and Evelyn "Bo" Hook.
She is survived by: her son Gary Brannen (Renee) of Glennville, Georgia; her granddaughter Candice Thompson Chase Brannen (Henry) of Glennville, Georgia.; her great grandchildren, Brannen Thompson, Molly Thompson, Jency Thompson, Maddie Brannen and Cruz Brannen; and her nieces, Alicia Rogers of Claxton and Georgia Bethany Denning of Statesboro, Georgia.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
