With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen LaNelle Barber (Glennville, Georgia), born in Nahunta, Georgia, who passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernie Waters and Kathleen Mikell Waters; her husband Billy L. Barber; her children, Cathy Dianne McDonald of Statesboro, Terry L. Barber (Gracie) of Statesboro and Ricky P. Barber of Statesboro; her brothers, Michael Waters of Statesboro and Bernie E. Waters of San Diego, CA; and her grandchildren, Kathleen Brannen of Statesboro, Jessica Harrelson of Statesboro, Christopher Anderson of Statesboro, Robert Anderson of Statesboro and Brandon Anderson of Port Wentworth. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
