He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edwards and Mary Helen Hammond Edwards; his stepmother Lois Edwards; his brothers, Ted Edwards and Paul Edwards; his grandson Tyler Wachter; and his great grandchild Brayden Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Loreasa Edwards of Glennville; his children, Brian Edwards (Deanna) of Glennville, Carolyn Coursey (Elliot) of Glennville, Moreasa Edwards of Glennville, Joshua Edwards (Elizabeth) of Glennville, Belinda Edwards of Glennville and Nathan Edwards of Glennville; his brothers, Tommy Edwards (Nolene) of Fleming and George Edwards (Debbie) of Brunswick; and his grandchildren, Aaron Barr, Bradley Edwards, Lauren Edwards, Alyssa Edwards, Haileigh Coursey, Alex Coursey, Mark Coursey, Joe Coursey (Samantha), Kaelyn Edwards, Mabry Edwards, Lana Wachter, Prudence Wachter and Connor Wachter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
