He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Groover and Ernestine Groover; and his siblings, Danny Groover and Linda Groover Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Groover of Glennville; his children, Kayla Colucci (Alfonso) of Reidsville, Aaron Groover of Glennville, Brandon Filkins (Erica) of Glennville, Gary Filkins (Ashley) of Ludowici and Christa Thompson (Steve) of Pooler, Georgia.; his brother Mike Groover (Marie) of Glennville; and his grandchildren, Bailor, Easton, Kayden, Grayson, Bryleigh, Aiden, Gavin, Hollie and Shannon Filkins. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
