He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Jones and Jesse Jones; his brother Darrell; his son Jonathan; and his granddaughter Clarissa Jolie.
He is survived by: his wife Corene; his daughters, Diana, Lyn and Jennie; and his sister Jessie. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made to the American Cancer Society or Glennville Methodist Church.
