It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Bell Hagan Forrest (Glennville, Georgia), born in Claxton, Georgia, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Hagan and Edna Hagan; her daughter Tammie Williams; and her siblings, Saul Hagan, Hope Hagan, Early Hagan and Rochelle Hagan.
She is survived by: her husband James Forrest; her sons, James Forrest (Jacqueline), Paul Forrest (Kathy), Maurice (Cynthia) and Morris Forrest; and her siblings, Edna Pearl Thomas (Ananias), Rosetta Nunnally, Gail Porter, Ilene King (James) and Grady Hagan. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the King and Son's Funeral and Cremation Services - Glennville (5236 US-301, Glennville, GA 30427). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Alpha Omega Worship Center (4906 Pineland Dr, Savannah, GA 31406).
