It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Curtis Lumpkin (Glennville, Georgia), who passed away on April 6, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Phillip departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Phillip. Though Phillip may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Lumpkin and Geneva Russell Lumpkin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lumpkin of Reidsville; his stepchildren, Frank Arnst of Saginaw, Jacob Arnst (Linda) of Huber Heights and Katherin McLeod (David) of Linden, Michigan; and his sister Pat Hansen (Mike) of Maryville, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
