He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Andrew Bell and Ethel Croft Bell; his siblings, Virginia Tucker, Thelma Williams, Shirley Snow, Lona Dozier, Raymond Bell, Charles Bell, Alvin Bell and Darrell Bell; and his son-in-law Rupert Sexton.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Whitlock Bell; his children, Dana Sexton and David; his daughter-in-law Chris Bell; his grandchildren, Daniel Bell, Lauren Marie Whittaker and Kayla Michelle Whittaker; his great grandchild Lillie Jean Marie Murphy; and his pet Dixie.
