He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Lyles and Alma Belle Valentine Lyles; his wife Wanda Lyles; and his siblings, Virgil Lyles, Robert Lyles and Doris Shepherd.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Lyles (Cindy) of Milledgeville, Loren Lyles (Erin) of San Diego, CA and Randy Lyles (Carol) of Gray; his grandchildren, Robert, Natasha, Drew, Holden, Colby, Gabriale and Olivia; and his niece Vivian Howard. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, other nieces and nephews.
