He is survived by: his wife Joann; his children, Randy Irons (Margaret), Robin Balkcom (Rex) and Rachel Graham (Thomas E.); and his siblings, Dale (Phyllis), Rick Irons (Pat) of Robbinsville, NC., Maggie Kaplan (Roy) and Virginia. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
