We are sad to announce that, on March 29, 2026, at the age of 85, Emory Joe McEntyre of Gordon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McEntyre and Catherine McEntyre. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Nicholson McEntyre; his children, Monica Parker (Richie) and Michael McEntyre (Jennifer); his brother Clyde McEntyre (late Pat McEntyre); his brother-in-law Alfred Knight; his nieces and nephews, Tammy McCormick (Anthony), Kim Williams (Chris), Pam Mills, Renva Porto, Carol Monteith, Sean Knight (Cindy), Blake McEntyre and Daryl Gay; and his grandchildren, Collin Parker, Sydnie Defoor (Jack), Jacob Parker (Naomi), Ivie Collins (CJ), Logan Parker (Hazel), Gavin Parker and Mac McDaniel. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
