He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sherman Teague and Lilabell Champion Teague; his son Gary Teague; and his siblings, Martha Teague, John Teague and Della "Ruth" Teague Kolwyck.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Chastain Teague; his children, Terri Teague Bowen (Frank) of Calhoun and Jerry Teague (Sandy) of Valley Head, Alabama; his grandchildren, LeAnn Teague Miller, Madison Teague, Douglas Teague, Aaron Teague, Jacob Bowen and Landon Bowen; his great grandchildren, Landree June Bowen, Ellie "Bear" Teague and Addy Burns; and his brother Gene Teague. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
James requested that flowers be omitted and contributions be made in his memory to Sonora Masonic Lodge, Post Office Box 2419, Calhoun, Georgia 30703.
