She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Edwards and Minnie Edwards; her husband Lawrence Blakely Sr.; and her siblings, Carrie Brown, Daisey Murry, Minnie Lee Smith and Albert Edwards.

She is survived by: her son Lawrence Blakely Jr. of Augusta Ga; her granddaughter Tracy Tucker (Brian) of Simpsonville, SC; and her great grandchildren, Josiah Tucker of Simpsonville, SC and Ja'el Tucker of Simpsonville, SC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
