He was predeceased by: his father Richard Eugene James; his daughter Rebecca James; and his brother Leslie James. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Ann Brothers James; his sons, Christopher James (Carla) and Jesse Cole; his siblings, David James, Beverly James and Holly Smith; and his grandchildren, Christian and Charlie.
