Amos Jackson Sr. Obituary

We announce the death of Amos Jackson Sr. (Gray, Georgia), who passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 87. Amos will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Jackson and Lula Mercer Jackson; his wife Mary Jackson; and his daughter Christine Elaine Sama. He is survived by: his son Amos Jackson, Jr. (Yvette); his grandsons, Jake Jackson (Austin), Kevin Jackson (Autumn) and Adam Schaffauer; his great grandchildren, Evie Jackson, Oliver Jackson and Aevin Jackson; and his sisters, Louise Brooks and Lois Folendore. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
