In the sacred silence of farewell, Ann is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ann's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Harris and Nellie Davis Harris. She is survived by: her husband James Rountree; her daughters, Susan Vaughn, Frances Baer, Donna Lauer, Heather Kirklin, Amanda McNeal and Lisa Kirklin (Joel Gibson); and her brother James Harris. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Gray Memorial Chapel (4378 Gray Hwy, Gray, GA 31032). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Harris Family Cemetery.
