He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Bowden and Louise Tidwell Bowden; and his sister Evelyn Brown. He is survived by: his wife Janet Bowden of Jones County; his children, Cherie Arrington (Craig) of Jones County, Stacie Bowden of Jones County, Draa Bowden (Amy) of Jones County and Lori Walker (Eric) of Musella, Georgia; his grandchildren, Destiny Arrington, Gage Arrington, Ashlee Arrington, Tyler Bowden, Mazzie Sapp and Emily Walker; his great grandchild Bentley Arrington; his brothers, Jimmy Bowden (Donna) of Macon and Jackie Bowden (Lisa) of Macon; and his sister-in-law Gerry Glenn (Vernon) of Byron, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
