It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Bowden (Gray, Georgia), born in Reynolds, Georgia, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Coleman Hinton and Mary Vivian McInvale Hinton; her husband William Darrell Bowden, Sr.; her daughter Sandra Stuckey; her siblings, Gene Hinton and Karen Hinton; and her sister-in-law Dianne Hinton.

She is survived by: her children, Darrell Bowden, Nancy Shreve (Dale) and Keith Bowden; her grandchildren, Kyle, Cole and Katie; and her siblings, Melissa Gee (Clifford), Barbara Davidson (Larry), Marianne Stevens (Mike), Robert Hinton and Larry Hinton (Gina). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
