It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Franklin Grimsley (Gray, Georgia), who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though George Franklin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George Franklin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Grimsley and Myrtle Grimsley; his wife Delene Grimsley; and his daughter Miki Grimsley. He is survived by: his son George Alon Grimsley, Sr. (Malissa); his grandchildren, George Alon Grimsley, Jr., Taylor Bass and Chloe Becker; and his siblings, Charles Grimsley and Phylis Grimsley Williams.
