With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jesse R Sheppard (Gray, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Sheppard and Ethel Harrell Sheppard; his wife Charlene Sheppard; and his brother Emory Bobby Sheppard. He is survived by: his children, Darryl Sheppard (Stella) and Tiffany Sapp (Chuck); his grandchildren, Ashton, Trevor (Abby), Thad (Britney), Ivy (Tarver), Christina (Cheyenne), Jonathan (Jennifer) and Wesley (Erin); his great grandchildren, Knox, Hayes, Elijah, Marah, Brayden, Jensyn, Jaysen, Noah, Mason, Kayla, Kash, Morgan, Cohen, Dozier, Jaxson, Sophie, Lizzie and Cole; his brother Larry Glenn Sheppard; and his pets, Bella, Danica and Skyler.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Gray Memorial Chapel (4378 Gray Hwy, Gray, GA 31032). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greenwood Baptist Church (3400 Gray Hwy, Gray, GA 31032).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Greenwood Baptist Church, 3400 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032, in honor of Jesse's enduring love for his church and community.
