He is survived by: his children, Nicole Lowery and Jessie Jackson Hobby Jr.; his grandchildren, Jessie J. Hobby III and Ashley Hobby; his great grandchildren, Jase Karnes, Braelynn Hobby, Graysan Hobby and A. J.; and his sister Beatrice Whitten. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
