He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Berry Bachelor Sr. and Mary Mercer Batchelor; and his siblings, Grady Barry Batchelor Jr., Martha Middleton and Mary Shepherd.
He is survived by: his nephews, Joe Smith (Debra) of Centerville and Berry Batchelor (Darlene) of Haddock; his cousins, Cheryl Johnson (Don) of Haddock, Gary Bradley (Bonnie) of Doraville, Bonnie Jeanes (Bobby) of Gordon and Wendell Nichols (Bobby) of Gordon; and his partner's son Greg Scoggins (Mikey) of Eatonton.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fortville Cemetery.
