He was predeceased by: his parents, James Loy Wilson (Boody) and Elizabeth Redman Wilson; his wife Floy Wilson; and his brothers, Charles Loy Wilson (Sonny) and Larry Howard Wilson.
He is survived by: his sister Beth; and his siblings-in-law, Dean Wood of Gray, Elizabeth Wilson of Flowery Branch and Joan Wilson of Milledgeville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Haisten Funeral Home (321 S Harkness St, Jackson, GA 30233). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel (321 S Harkness St, Jackson, GA 30233). A burial will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at the Stark Methodist Church Cemetery (1097 Halls Bridge Rd, Jackson, GA 30233).
