We are sad to announce that, on April 2, 2026, at the age of 74, Russell Allen Gay of Gray, Georgia, born in Milan, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alfred Gay and Lillie Gay; and his siblings, John Gay, Benny Gay, Alton Gay, Christine Rogers and Mae Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Gay; his children, Todd Gay (Kathy) and Shelley Edwards (Jason); his grandchildren, Logan Gay, Eric Blade, Shane Blade, Wesley Blade (Zoie), Ivey Tolbert (Mason), Ava Dunlap, Tyler and Taylor Edwards; and his great grandchild Leighton Tolbert.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, continuing Russell's spirit of generosity and care for others.
