He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Simmons and Navonia Smith Simmons; his former wife Carolyn D. Simmons; and his nephews, Marty and Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie S. Elkins (Chris), Samuel O. Simmons (Natosha) and James M. Simmons; his grandchildren, Dustin B. Simmons (Brittany), Sierra E. Bleskachek (Adam), Victor W. Parsons (Ashley), Summer L. Elkins (Micah), Nicholas S. Elkins, Landon Simmons, Gracie Simmons and Miki Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Naveah A. Simmons, Kilton L. Simmons, Alona G. Simmons, Keelyn B. Simmons and Victor W. Parsons, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Gray Memorial Chapel (4378 Gray Hwy, Gray, GA 31032). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
