She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Thames and Marilyn Thames (Viles); her husband David Crenshaw; and her stepdaughter Jessica Roberson. She is survived by: her son Bruce Gibson (Amanda) of Elko, Georgia; her stepdaughter Erin Scarborough (James) of Lizella, Georgia; her sister Vicky Moya of Aztec; her grandchildren, Austin, Ryleigh, Brantley, Kinley, Tommy, Millie, Luke and Kyleigh; and her pet Otis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Haven Baptist Church (893 New Haven Church Rd, Gordon, GA 31031). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to New Haven Baptist Church in honor of Sherry.
