Susan Marie Etheridge Obituary

Susan Marie Etheridge of Griswoldville Road, died Thursday, December 16th, 2021 at Serenity Hospice. The family will greet friends from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, Monday, December 20, 2021 at Gray Memorial Chapel in Gray, Ga. Services will follow at 3:00pm, Monday, in the chapel with Rev. Billy Lambert officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Ridge Cemetery.

Susan was born August 18, 1952, in Bibb county and had lived in Jones county most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Douglas and Marie Marshall and was also preceded in death by her husband: Eddie Harold Etheridge, Sr., brother: Douglas C. Marshall and a sister Loyce Price.

Susan was a lady with a strong, determined will and constitution. She loved to fish, can her vegetables, trips to the mountains, but most of all, loved her family. She was a proud volunteer for the City of Gray Fire Department, who will conduct honors at the cemetery.

She is survived by her son: Keith Etheridge (Vicky); grandchildren: Eric Keith Etheridge, Jr. (Dannie), Caitlin Etheridge, and Cole Etheridge; great-grandchildren: Ashley Pearl Chambers, Harmony Rogue Kent, Isabelle Grace Etheridge, Olivia Denise Etheridge; sister: Kathy Bunce (Mitchell) and Brother in-law Carlton Price Jr., and numerous nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the City of Gray Fire Department in her memory.
