It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda LaNell Phillips (Gray, Georgia), born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Clarence "Coot" Barfield and Ona Mae Williams Barfield; her sons, Charles Sloan Jr. (Jimmy) and Joseph Sloan; and her siblings, Rebecca Barfield Hill, Joan Harrelson, Audrey Warren and Johnnie Barfield.
She is survived by: her children, Cherl Duraso (Paulette) of Gray, Georgia, Kimberly Catlett (Lisa) of Phenix City, Alabama, Kerry Unternahrer (Jennifer) of Phenix City and Richard "Dickie" Sloan of Jefferson, Oregon.; her grandchildren, Kevin, Traci, Chris, Kenny, Brandon, Becca, Drew, Chelsea, Adam, Lee, Andy, Sarah, Nick, Kyle, Nathan, Natasha, Rachael and Destiney "Doll Face"; and her great grandchild Kitty.
