We announce the death of William Kenneth Cobb of Gray, Georgia, who passed away on October 25, 2026, at the age of 86. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Cobb and Louise Miller Cobb; his stepfather L. C. Ricks; and his siblings, Norma Cobb Kirbey (Tim) and J. C. Cobb (Doris).
He is survived by: his wife Vicki L. Cobb; his daughters, Karen Cobb Pittman (John) and Kelli Cobb Rutherford (Boyce); his grandchildren, Christin Watson (Troy), David Pittman, Megan Smith (Spencer), Luke Rutherford and Lauren Rutherford; his great grandchildren, Will Watson, Elliot Pittman and Sarah Smith; and his half-siblings, Ovid Cobb, Olin Cobb and Sally Cobb Wentland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Gray (134 W Clinton St, Gray, GA 31032). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at the Haddock Baptist Church Cemetery (180 Ethridge Rd, Haddock, GA 31033).
