He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Ivey and Grace Lee Ivey (Lester); his daughter Michelle Roark; his siblings, Shirley Swanson, Edward Ivey, Betty (Marcus Brookes), Mildred (John Kasley) and Calvin; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Ivey, Jr. and Gerald Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ivey (Blevins) of Grayson, GA; his children, Annette Metzer of Raleigh, NC, Gene, Suzanne Ivey of Homer, GA, Catherine "Kitty" Manchester of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Clint, Sheri Howard of Texas City, TX, Dan, Karen Howard of Monroe, GA, Pearl Lee Roark of Grayson, GA and Andrew Ryan Sanders of Grayson, GA; and his siblings, James Ivey of Ellenwood, GA and Geraldine Johnson of Monroe, GA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
