She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nelson Dean and Johnnie Dean. She is survived by: her husband Jim Toney; her children, Mike Toney (Monica), Michelle Reagan (Rick) and Jeff Toney (Tina); her grandchildren, Mark Toney, Jonathan Reagan (Michelle), Emily Shook (Donovan), Rachel Hadden (Mark) and Preston Toney (Josie); and her great grandchildren, Garrison and Adelaide Hadden.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory (2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Decatur Cemetery (229 Bell St, Decatur, GA 30030).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation made in memory of Gayle Toney to the Alzheimer's Association Georgia Chapter (alz.org/georgia).
