He was predeceased by: his wife Wren Melton (Stanley); and his parents, Beulah Melton (Price) and William Dewey Melton. He is survived by: his siblings, Gale Melton Bailey (Wayne) of Dacula, GA and Anita Kay McCormick (Rick) of Albuquerque, NM; his brother-in-law Ivan Stanley (Rita) of Eatonton, GA; his siblings' children, Victoria McCormick, Chevas Phillips, Nanette Stanley, Will McCormick, Ben McCormick and Levi Stanley; and his aunt Fay Melton Arendall.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (1800 Fence Rd NE, Dacula, GA 30019).
