He was predeceased by: his parents, William Archibald Simpson and Mary Emaline Carter Simpson; his wife Sara Simpson; his stepmother Annabell P. Simpson; his son James Martin Simpson; his grandson Jeremy Michael Simpson; and his siblings, Shirley Finch, Mary Corry Inez Hunt, Louise Berrong, James Simpson, Archie Simpson and Robert Simpson.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Alexander Simpson of Siloam, Joseph Louis Simpson of Siloam and Richard Dean Simpson of Siloam; his granddaughters, Amanda Leann Simpson, Jennifer Lynn Simpson and Wendy Dianne Simpson; his great grandchildren, Joseph Ryder Meadows, Haley Nicole Meadows and Macy Grace Nichols; and his great great grandchild Silas Marcell Herrington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
