He was predeceased by: his parents, Voy Archie Short, Sr. and Pearl Pruitt Short; his son Stacy Short; and his sister Brenda Short Knight. He is survived by: his son Josh Short (Jessica) of Greensboro, GA; and his grandson Nathan Short.
