Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Andrew Mich and Margaret Carrie Mincenberg Mich; and her brother Frederick Mich. She is survived by: her husband Harold Stryker of Greensboro, GA; her daughters, Jennifer K. Slater (Gary) of Mattoon, IL and Michele L Brandt (Robert) of Lynchburg, VA; her sister Dorothy Metka (Linz); and her grandchildren, Megan Winkleman (David Fisher) of Windermere, FL, Matthew Brandt of Groton, CT, Ryan Brandt of Richmond, VA and Jordan Brandt of Lynchburg, VA. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
