It is with sadness that the passing of Clyde D. Coleman of Greensboro, Georgia is shared. Clyde, born on January 12, 1932, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Posey Kern Coleman and Mattie Lee Hollandsworth Coleman; his wife Opal Mae Waller Coleman; his daughter Nancy Greeson; and his siblings, Kern Delayne Coleman, Wally June Coleman, Johnny Coleman, Michael Coleman, Danny Dexter Coleman and Annette Goode.
He is survived by: his son Rodney Coleman; his granddaughters, Terri Cook (Wes) and Candy Summerlin; his great grandchildren, Austin Kestner, Christian Summerlin, Wesley Cook and J. T. Cook; his great great grandchild Leia Kestner; and his siblings, Kenneth Coleman, Randy Coleman, Eddie Coleman, Martha Bohannon and Penny Gill. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Pierce-Jefferson Lambeth Chapel (300 W Wendover Ave, Greensboro, NC 27401). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service - Lambeth Chapel (300 W Wendover Ave, Greensboro, NC 27401). A burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Lakeview Memorial Park (3600 N O. Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27405).
